The Edwards family opted not to wait till Saturday to purchase their pumpkins ... although there were many free, pre-carved pumpkins lining the streets the day after Halloween. Instead, some local pumpkins were purchased and later dissected on the kitchen floor. Tyson and a friend headed downtown to join the rest of the Tonganoxie kids in pilfering free candy. Apparently that was the place to be. Despite setting up shop in the driveway from the back of the truck ... complete with strobe light, music, a real fire, and typical Kansas tailgaiting, we only gave away 1 piece of candy ... and that was to Paige. Oh well ... it was still an enjoyable evening under the stars on a pleasant October evening.

No TOTers, eh? Our neighborhood was swarming. We gave away most of a huge bowl, probably TOTers in the hundreds. At least your turnout keeps your candy budget in check.
